About Us

Owner-artisan, Jacek Prowinski trained in the prestigious school of professional painting and design in his native Poland. With twenty years experience in decorative painting, Jacek works closely with his crew of highly-skilled, experienced artisans to ensure your project will be executed to the highest standards. A renowned instructor of painting technique and restoration, Jacek has been invited to teach workshops throughout the United States in all aspects of faux painting, restoration and related decorative arts. He has a strong personal commitment to sharing his expertise in timeless and cutting-edge decorative finishes with students and fellow professionals.


Jacek’s work is showcased in The House that Faux Built (www.fauxhouse.com) which has been featured in The Washington Post, HGTV Magazine and Decorating Solutions and endorsed by actor/enviromentalist Ed Begley, Jr. Jacek and the other participating artists donated their services to help create this book so that 100% of the proceeds can go to victims of Hurricane Katrina.

In addition, Jacek has been profiled in several publications including, The Faux Finisher, Paint Pro Magazine, Artistic Stenciler, and Profiles in Faux Finishing and was featured on HGTV’s New Spaces. He is member of Salon, an exclusive international consortium of highly skilled decorative artists whose mission is to share techniques, mediums and ideas in the continued pursuit of excellence. He is also an active member and teacher of the International Decorative Artisans League.
